GIF:
One of two file types used for Web publications,
GIF files use only 256 colors in their images and have larger file sizes.
GIFs also can be animated for publication on the Web.

History Palette:
A floating window that keeps track of all steps
taken in Photoshop. Users can undo any step by dragging it to the trashcan
in the History palette.
HTML:
Hypertext Markup Language is the computer code
written to make web pages work.
Hyperlinks:
A word or graphic area that, when activated, transports
a web site visitor to another place on the World Wide Web.

The process of bringing raw material into
a computer program, usually with the purpose of molding it into a finished
product.

JPEG:
The other file type used for Web publications.
Even though JPEG file sizes are generally smaller than GIF files, JPEG
files can use more than 1,000 colors and are most often used for reproducing
photographic images on the Web.

Lasso Tool:
A Photoshop tool that allows users to select small
parts of individual photos, wrapping to each edge of that part.
